Annual Samoohika Maha Sri Satyanarayana Swami Puja (Virtual only)

Sunday, Nov 29th , 2020 @ 4:00 PM

Kartika Poornima is the most auspicious day for Satyanarayana Puja. The Temple organizes this puja annually in a grand scale. However, due to the present circumstances and keeping in mind the safety of all devotees, this year, this puja will be done virtually via Zoom. We would like to invite you all to participate in this Sri Maha Satyanarayana puja virtually from your homes. We will guide you step by step through the process while this puja is conducted by our temple priests. At the same time, the puja will be done in the temple as well by the priests. After we receive your registration for this puja, we will send you an email with all the instruction on how to set up and prepare for this virtual puja.

Once you register, you can come and collect a Satyanarayana Mandapa sheet as well as turmeric roots, dried dates, beetle nuts, and Satyanarayana Pratima from the temple.

The rest of the puja items such as turmeric powder, Kumkum, sandalwood powder, camphor, agarbatti (incense sticks), matchbox, two ghee lamps, two blouse pieces, 75 quarter coins, fruits, flowers, two coconuts, two Kalashams (copper), two cups for water (either steel or silver), one panchapatra set, and Satyanarayana prasada must be gathered by you and set up for the puja.

We recommend that you wear Indian attire during the puja, and to have an iPad/computer with a good internet connection facing the alter with you also in the frame.

Let’s celebrate and perform this Maha Satyanarayana puja on the day of Kartika Pournima on Sunday, 29th of November 2020, at 4 PM. We will send you the Zoom link to join the puja along with the puja instructions sheet. We hope to see you soon virtually!

Thank you, and may the Divine Mother bless you with happiness, prosperity, and good health.
