Sri Shyamala Triratra Utsav (Celebrations)

From Friday, 23rd January 2026 to Sunday, 25th January 2026

Sri Sivakameswari Devasthanam is delighted to announce its first-ever Shyāmala Trirātra Utsav, celebrated during Shyāmala Navarātri.

Join us for three sacred days of daily Avarana Pujas, Kumkumarchana, and a vibrant, mesmerizing Sangeeta Seva Yagya (ensemble).

All are warmly invited to participate and sponsor the pujas and Sangeeta Seva Yagya during this auspicious celebration.

A special three-night (Triratra) festival is dedicated to Goddess Shyamala, also known as Matangi, one of the most profound and esoteric forms of the Divine Mother. This observance is traditionally conducted as part of the larger Shyamala Navaratri, a focused nine-night vrata that honors her various manifestations and spiritual dimensions.

Spiritual Significance
Goddess Shyamala/Matangi is revered as the presiding deity of music, arts, learning, eloquence, mantra shakti, and higher knowledge, particularly knowledge that transcends social and intellectual boundaries. In Vedic tradition, she represents inner mastery, refined speech, creative intelligence, and the power of awareness. Worship of Shyamala is believed to bestow: Mastery over speech, learning, and artistic expression Clarity of intellect and intuitive wisdom Removal of inner blockages related to creativity and confidence Grace for success in education, fine arts, mantra sadhana, and spiritual pursuits
Triratra Observance
The three-night (Triratra) celebration concentrates the essence of Shyamala worship into an intense and transformative spiritual window. This worship focusing on vak shakti (power of speech) and jnana shakti (power of knowledge) This condensed format allows devotees to experience deep spiritual impact within a short but highly potent period.
