Avani Avittam & Back-to-School Blessings

Sunday 16th August, 2026 @ 09:00 AM – 01:00 PM

Dear Devotees,

Sri Sivakameswari Devasthanam (SSKD) warmly invites all devotees to participate in the sacred Gayathri Japam, Homam, and Abhishekam on the auspicious occasion of Avani Avittam and the beginning of the new academic year.

This special programme is graciously sponsored by Dr. Gopal Yeturu & Smt. Satya Yeturu, bringing families together to seek the divine blessings of Sri Gayathri Devi, the Goddess of knowledge, wisdom, and enlightenment.

As children return to school, parents and students are especially encouraged to participate and receive blessings for knowledge, concentration, confidence, academic success, good health, and a bright future.

The programme includes:

• Gayathri Japam
• Gayathri Homam (Havan)
• Abhishekam
• Special Blessings for Students & Families

Participation is FREE for all devotees. Lunch Prasadam will be served following the ceremony.

To assist the temple in making arrangements for seating, puja materials, and Prasadam, devotees are kindly requested to register in advance.

On behalf of Dr. Gopal Yeturu, Smt. Satya Yeturu, and Family, Sri Sivakameswari Devasthanam welcomes everyone to this sacred celebration and prays that Sri Gayathri Devi bless all with knowledge, wisdom, prosperity, and spiritual well-being.
