Abhishekam

(Bathing ceremony to the Almighty)

Abhishekam is a traditional Vedic ritual of bathing the deity with different ingredients such as milk, yogurt, ghee, sugar, and honey along with the Vedic chantings. These Abhishekams are conducted in Temples daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly.

During some special Abhishekams, we use a maximum of 21 kinds of ingredients. These Abhishekams can be performed on the occasions of birthdays, anniversaries, or any happy, successful moments in our lives to thank God.

During these Abhishekams, the priest will recite your Gotram, Nakshatra, and Name, and perform the Abhishekam on behalf of you to the requested deity.
You may sponsor these Abhishekams occasionally, daily, weekly, monthly, or annually.
